Dave surprised me with tickets to New York City for my birthday in June. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my birthday. We took the train from Union Station to Penn and spent the hours on the train sipping wine and watching movies. I have always thought the train was a great way to travel. We arrived in the city late that night and wasted no time heading to Times Square and getting our hands on some street food. We spent the rest of the weekend visiting friends and family who live in the city, strolling the High Line, shopping in Chelsea Market, enjoying restaurants, and visiting Central Park. We are hoping to make it back up to the Big Apple soon. What a magical city.
All of these photos were taken on my iPhone 4s and edited with the VSCO Cam app. I wasn’t particularly in the mood for my DSLR with in NYC and enjoyed the simplicity of shooting with my phone.
What AMESOME pictures. Your phone camera did a great job but your talent to see WHAT subjects would make those pictures even more awesome is a real talent.
Enjoyed seeing these so much ….

What a fun birthday! I find it hard to take pictures with the phone. Obviously you dont. Great shots!
