Boating in Canada

Dave’s family has a cabin on a lake in Ontario, Canada. Dave has spent a week there almost every year since he was born. It’s a special place for us for many reasons and we always enjoy the valuable time spent with family. I grew up in Michigan around lakes and water, so naturally, one of my favorite parts of our time at the cabin are the sunset boat rides we take after dinner. I love Washington, DC, but these photos are making miss the northern landscape. WEBCanada062

Adelaide really loves the boat. WEBCanada100WEBCanada037 WEBCanada052 WEBcanada1-(1-of-11)WEBcanada1-(2-of-11) WEBcanada1-(7-of-11)

As I am writing this blog post I looked down and noticed I am wearing the same sweatshirt and pants. Haha. Good for summer boat rides and crisp fall days!WEBcanada1-(6-of-11)WEBcanada1-(8-of-11)

It’s also my father in law’s birthday today. He wasn’t on this particular boating trip when I took photos, but I wanted to share his unique view of the lake. I absolutely love having artists in the family. Happy Birthday!! WEB8X6A3658
