Sessions like this are why I love photography. I spent a lovely, sunny morning with this beautiful family in their Arlington row home photographing their life as a young family. I really believe that there is something raw and beautiful about every day life and love using photography as a way to capture it. I see photographs like these as heirlooms for future generations and as a time capsule for the family as the kids grow older.
They started out their day at home. making blueberry pancakes and snuggling in their pajamas on the couch. Then they got ready for the day and headed out to the local farmers market. Their morning ended with a mini-picnic that consisted of beignets, iced coffee, and giant cookies in a small park nearby. Can’t you just feel the love in their family oozing from these photos?
