This past spring I met up with Chelsea and Hunter by the National Mall for a sunrise engagement shoot with the famous DC cherry blossoms. It was the first day of peak bloom, so don’t let these photos fool you, it was insanely crowded around the cherry trees. We got creative with positioning and framing in order to take photos without tourists and landscape photographers in every shot, and we were able to walk away with some glowy, romantic shots. The morning was breathtakingly gorgeous and I had a wonderful time with this beautiful couple. Thanks for being willing to get up early and take photos before heading off to work. I love the glow the sun rise created. Congratulations you two!
