Kicheko Summer | Fall Look Book: Look #2

I wrote earlier this week about the great experience I had shooting the Kicheko Summer | Fall Look Book back in June. It was absolute joy to collaborate with such creative and talented women, and though I am thrilled with the end result, I am a little sad to see this project come to an end.

After our early sun rise shoot, our wonderful makeup artist, Lacey, helped transform our models for the second half of the shoot. The grounds at the ruins of Forest Glen Seminary where absolutely perfect for how we’d envisioned photos, and I loved taking advantage of all of the white walls as natural reflectors. Here are a few of my favorites from Look #2BLOGkicheko_summer-443

Last week, Kicheko launched its late summer|early fall lookbook called “Midsummer’s Night Reign.” The first production of its kind; Kicheko, meaning “smile or laughter” in Swahili, is a cause-based brand that produces and promotes social goods.

Proceeds from sales go towards orphan care and continuing education in eastern Congo. Essentially, every pair of earrings helps a child eat and go to school. View the new collection here.
